Ohio parenting class requirement
Only where your county requires it
Ohio has no statewide parent education mandate. The statute lets a court require parents to attend parenting classes before it issues the order allocating parental rights, and many domestic relations courts do require it by local rule. This is a county question, not a state one.

County by county, through the local domestic relations or juvenile court's own rule. There is no statewide approval process and no statewide list, and the Ohio Rules of Superintendence contain no parent education provision at all. Ask your court which providers it accepts before you pay.
