Asked and answered.
Will my court accept this certificate?
We track acceptance state by state and we only say yes when we mean it. If your specific court does not accept your certificate, you get a 100 percent refund and our help finding what that court requires.
How long does the course take?
The standard course is 4 hours of learning time, which most parents split over one or two evenings. Progress saves automatically and never expires.
When do I get my certificate?
The moment you pass the final check, by email, with a verification ID and QR code. Re-downloads are free forever.
Do both parents take it together?
Each parent completes the course separately, and you are never required to attend with the other parent. Some states also have a single price covering both parents on one case; your price is shown once you pick your state.
What if I cannot afford it?
We are operated by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and fund scholarship seats. Ask, and a required class will never stand between you and your kids.
Is this therapy or legal advice?
No. The course is educational in nature and is not individual mental health therapy or legal advice. It includes crisis and legal-help resources for your state.
